Motherwell

Injuries - Craigan, Saunders

Probable XI - Randolph, Hately, Hutchison, Clancy, Hammell, Jennings, Law, Lasley, Murphy, Ojamaa, Higdon (4-4-2)

Rangers

Injuries - McCabe, Naismith
Suspended - Bocanegra
Available Squad - McGregor, Whittaker, Papac, Wallace, Kerkar, Goian, Davis, McCulloch, Aluko, Little, Edu, Lafferty, Bedoya, Perry, Mitchell, Alexander, Healy, Hegarty

Probable XI - McGregor, Whittaker, Goian, Perry, Papac, Aluko, Davis, McCulloch, Wallace, Edu, Lafferty (4-5-1)

Prediction : Motherwell 0-1 Rangers

Rangers seem to have one battle after another of late. But they are always at their best when challanged. I was right to Lay celtic last week and I reckon a Rangers win here is great value. Rangers are getting back to full strength and having Whittaker back is a huge benefit. Motherwell have been a bit hit or miss for the last couple of months and I think they might bottle a pressure game like this. Rangers to win @ 2.25 (Ladbrokes) Certainly value as without all Rangers woes this price would have been about 1.7 or lower in my reckoning.

Dundee Utd v Dunfermline

Dundee Utd

Injuries - Watson, Lacny, Severin (retired)
Available squad - Pernis, Dillon, Gunning, Neilson, Kenneth, Dixon, Douglas, Armstrong, S Robertson, Ryan, Flood, Mackay-Steven, Rankin, Russell, Daly, Dow, Banks

Probable XI - Pernis, Dillon, Gunning, Dixon, Neilson, Flood, Robertson, Rankin, Mackay-Steven, Russell, Daly (4-4-2)

Dunfermline

Injuries - Barrowman, Phinn, Bell, Gallacher
Available Squad - Smith, McMillan, Keddie, Boyle, Mason, Cardle, Hardie, Kirk, Graham, Buchanan, Thomson, Dowie, McCann, Kerr, Hutton, Willis, McDougall, Goodfellow, Rutkiewicz, Burns

Probable XI - Smith, Mcmillan, Keddie, Dowie, McCann, Graham, Hardie, Cardle, Mason, Kirk, Buchanan (4-4-2)

Prediction : Dundee Utd 2-0 Dunfermline

Jim Jeffries is now in charge at Dunfermline and he will make a huge difference as he knows Scottish football inside out but I fear it is too late for Dunfermline. he has tried desperately to get a new keeper in, Spanish boy Bernardo Dominguez but doesn't look like it will be cleared in time. There keeper crisis has cost them many points as Smith is just not up to scratch which I have mentioned on numerous weeks. Dundee United will be strong for Dunfermline here.
Dundee United to be winning at HT looks a bet @2.05 (Stan James)

Hearts v Aberdeen

Hearts

Injuries -  Templeton, Kyle
Doubtful - McDonald
Available squad - MacDonald, Barr, Hamill, Grainger, McGowan, Webster, Zaliukas, Mrowiec, Robinson, Skacel, Elliott, Santana, Smith, Driver, Ridgers, Beattie, Black, Templeton.

Probable XI - Ridgers, Grainger, Webster, Zaliukas, Hamill, Driver, Black, Mrowiec, Skacel, Elliot, Beattie (4-4-2)

Aberdeen

Injuries - Fyvie, Milsom, Folly
Available Squad - Brown, Considine, McArdle, Reynolds, Arnason, Jack, Rae, Anderson, Vernon, Megginson, Chalali, Fallon, Langfield, Mackie, Mawene, Uchechi, Clark, Robertson, Pawlett, Magennis, Osbourne, Hughes

Probable XI - Brown, McArdle, Considine, Reynolds, Robertson, Jack, Arnason, Rae, Clark, Fallon, Vernon (4-4-2)

Prediction : Hearts 1-0 Aberdeen

It is vital Hearts field a strong team here I feel as Beattie, Black and Elliot all missed last weeks defeat at St Johnstone and we need them in the team. Hearts may well be missing keeper McDonald (who is 2nd choice anyway) and might have to go with Ridgers. Aberdeen will be looking to bounce back after lossing at home to Inverness which surprised me. Hearts home wins have become an absolute must as their away form is so poor.

Home win for me @2.1 (skybet)

Prediction : St Mirren 2-1 Kilmarnock

I am litterly begging for Kilmarnock to get beaten here! They are without Heffernan their main striker and have been playing a make shift midfield and defence for the last couple of weeks.
Dear Jim can you fix it for me......St Mirren to win @ 2.5 (William Hill) Sneaky punt on Hasselbaink anytime scorer @ 3.6 (Paddy Power)
