Bulgaria v Scotland (5.30pn KO)

Match I'm looking at tonight is in the Under 21's European Championship qualifiers

Bulgaria v Scotland (5.30pn KO)

Probably hard to believe for many but Scotland actually have a really decent crop of players at this age group. They surprised a few by beating Holland away in Novemeber and followed that up with a 0-0 draw at home in a match we really should have won.

I reckon the team shall be something like this:

Ridgers - Jack, Hanlon, Wilson, Perry - Kelly, Cairney, Mackay-Steven, Allan - Russell, Rhodes (4-4-2)

A team of players who have nearly all had regular games for their 1st teams this year and are buzzing with confidence. Clearly with Allan, Mackay-Steven, Russell and Rhodes there is genuine attacking threat in the side and I see them avenging the disappointing goaless draw we had at home with Bulgaria at the start of the qualifying campaign.

Being a Scot it is easy for me NOT to get carried away with confidence in any Scotland team but I think they have a real shout for a positive result tonight. I will take Scotland with the saftey of Draw No Bet @ 2.15 (Sporting Bet)

Scottish Cup Final - Heart of Midlothian v Hibernian

Heart of Midlothian v Hibernian

Hearts

Injuries - Hamill
Available Squad - MacDonald, McGowan, Zaliukas, Webster, Grainger, Prychynenko, Barr, Black, Santana, Driver, Skacel, Glen, Ridgers, Elliott, Mrowiec, Novikovas, Robinson, Holt, Smith, Morton, Taouil

Probable XI - MacDonald, McGowan, Zaliukas, Webster, Grainger, Driver, Black, Barr, Skacel, Robinson, Elliot (4-1-3-1-1)

Hibs

Injuries - Galbraith, Stack
Available - Brown, McPake, Kujabi, Hanlon, Doherty, Towell, Soares, Sproule, Osbourne, O'Donovan, O'Connor, Doyle, Francomb, Grant, Claros, O'Hanlon, Murray, Stevenson, Griffiths

Probable XI - Brown, Doherty, McPake, Hanlon, Kujabi, Claros, Soares, Stevenson, Osbourne, O'Connor, Griffiths (4-42)

Prediction : Hearts 1-0 Hibs

So here it is.....The "Salt 'n Sauce" final, with the old firm nowhere to be seen!

I make no apologies for my huge bias here for Hearts, being a Jambo for 36 years! Lets start by looking at the simple facts. Hibs have not beaten Hearts at the last 10 attempts including 7 defeats (last 3 in a row). Hearts finished the 38 game league campaign in 5th place whereas Hibs staved off relegation to end up 11th 19pts behind Hearts.

But why am I a little nervous? Well, it has not gone un-noticed that Hibs manager Fenlon is starting to slowly turn things round at the club, remember he was only appointed in November after a shambolic start under Colin Calderwood. The players that Fenlon has brought in are now making their mark, probably most notably in defence where McPake seems to have made them a lot more solid and Kujabi gives them an attacking dimension down the flank. They also now have a bit of grit combined with vision in midfield with Claros and Soares linking up well with the forwards. Upfront they are always going to be dangerous with pairing O'Connor and Griffiths. O'Connor is the clubs top goal scorer with 16 for the season but it is Griffiths that worries me the most as he is the type of nippy little player that has the ability to score a goal out of nothing.

I'm expecting Hearts to line up with a very similar looking side to the one that beat Celtic in the semi finals. The only question mark hangs over striker Beattie. He will definately play but whether he starts or not is in question as he has been out for the last 3 games with a hamstring injury, coupled with the fact that I don't actually think he has really been fit since he came to the club, highlighted by his belly shown when he did his shirt off celebration against Celtic. Hearts strength comes from a solid defence , even though the defence conceded 5 goals last outing against Celtic that is not an issue at all in my book. Hearts have only had 43 goals against them in the league which was only bettered by the old firm and for me Zaliukas and Webster have a great partnership in the middle of defence, both mobile and good in the air. We should deploy Barr as a holding midfielder just infront of them which allows Black to marshall the midfield. Driver and Skacel have the skills so it is only really goal scoring that concerns me. Hearts only managed 15 aways goals in the league this season which was the 2nd least in the divison and its a real problem when away from Tynecastle.

With all that said Hibs have been utter rubbish all season and if Hearts can just stay relaxed and crucially keep their disciple, we have the better players and should win the match but I can see it being a close one and it would surprise me if a sending off or a penalty could be the deciding factor.

So, in conlusion I'm prepared to shut out my horrible feels about Hibs not winning the cup since 1902 and the possibility that when they do it could be against their greatest rivals (some sort of destiny pish...) and I'm happy to go with my instincts and heart that the JAMBOS ARE THE BETTER TEAM AND WILL WIN @ 2.25 (Paddy Power)

Side bet : Rudi Skacel anytime scorer @ 3.4 (Sportingbet) for some reason this price is huge compared to other sports books, not sure why?

When the Hearts go up to lift the Scottish Cup, I'll be there, I'll be there................................

SPL - Sunday 12th May Team News‏ & Thoughts

Celtic v Hearts

Celtic

Injuries - Rogne, Forrest, Ki
Available Squad - Forster, Lustig, Wanyama, Mulgrew, Matthews, Brown, McGeouch, Ledley, Izaguirre, Commons, Stokes, Watt, Samaras, Hooper, Zaluska, Cha, Bangura, Ibrahim, McCourt, Kelvin Wilson, Loovens

Probable XI - Forster, Lustig, Loovens, Mulgrew, Matthews, Commons, Brown, Wanyama, Ledley, Stokes, Hooper (4-4-2)

Hearts

Injuries - Hamill
Available Squad - MacDonald, McGowan, Zaliukas, Webster, Grainger, Prychynenko, Barr, Black, Santana, Driver, Skacel, Glen, Ridgers, Elliott, Mrowiec, Novikovas, Robinson, Holt, Smith, Morton, Taouil

Probable XI - MacDonald, McGowan, Zaliukas, Webster, Grainger, Santana, Mrowiec, Taouil, Novikovas, Robinson, Elliott (4-5-1)

Prediction : Celtic 4-0 Hearts

Tricky one this for Hearts as they will surely be sensible and rest their key players for the all important cup final against bitter rivals Hibs next week, but they know a point from this match will bring a european place for next season. To be honest though it will probably be much easier to stuff the Hibees at Hampden than get a draw away to Celtic!!!! From everything that I have read Neil Lennon sounds like he is going to field a very strong team as he wants to finish the season off in style for their fans and let the title party take full swing preferably early in the match. I have a number of bets for this match as follows : CELTIC HT/FT @ 1.91 (CORAL) ; CELTIC -1.5 Asian Handicap @ 2.08 (LADBROKES) and for those who like a bit of a risky one, check to see what team Hearts are going to field and if its weak I'll have a pop at CELTIC -3 Asian Handicap @ 6.4 (bet365), sounds ambitious but Celtic have already beaten Hearts 4-0 at Tynecastle this year and they recorded a 4-0 at Celtic park last season also.

Motherwell v Dundee Utd

Motherwell

Injuries - Higdon
Available Squad - Randolph, Hateley, Hammell, Clancy, Hutchinson, Jennings, Lasley, Law, Humphrey, Murphy, McHugh, Craigan, Forbes, Ojamaa, Carswell, Daley, Saunders, Hollis

Probable XI - Randolph, Hateley, Clancy, Craigan, Hammell, Jennings, Lasley, Law, Daley, Murphy, Ojamaa (4-4-2)

Dundee Utd

Injuries - Lacny
Doubtful - Neilson, Gunning, Douglas
Available Squad - Pernis, Dillon, Kenneth, Gunning, Neilson, Dixon, Flood, Rankin, Robertson, Mackay-Steven, Russell, Daly, Ryan, Armstrong, Watson, Dow, Swanson, Douglas, Banks

Probable XI - Pernis, Watson, Dillon, Kenneth, Dixon, Flood, Rankin, Robertson, Mackay-Steven, Daly, Russell (4-4-2)

Prediction : Motherwell 2-1 Dundee Utd

Consistency has been the difference between these 2 teams this year, Motherwell have shown that little bit more and hence are in 3rd place. This is a proper nothing match and a definite NO BET for me.

St Johnstone v Rangers

St Johnstone

Injuries - Croft
Suspended - M. Davidson
Available Squad - Mannus, MacKay, Anderson, McCracken, C Davidson, Maybury, Millar, Riordan, Morris, Craig, Sheridan, Haber, Sandaza, Enckelman, Oyenuga, Gray, Keatings

Probable XI - Mannus, MacKay, Anderson, McCracken, C.Davidson, Millar, Morris, Craig, Adams, Sandaza, Sheridan (4-4-2)

Rangers

Injuries - Bocanegra, Goian, Kerkar, Lafferty
Available Squad - McGregor, Whittaker, Wallace, Perry, Bartley, McCulloch, Aluko, Edu, Ness, Little, McCabe, Bedoya, Broadfoot, Alexander, Healy, Mitchell, Hegarty, MacLeod

Probable XI - McGregor, Perry, Bartley, Broadfoot, Whittaker, Edu, McCabe, Ness, Wallace, Aluko, McCulloch (3-5-2)

Prediction : St Johnstone 1-2 Rangers

Rangers are without their two central defenders Goian and Bocanegra so no doubt that excuse for a footballer, Broadfoot, will get a rare runout. He will be up against Sandaza after the Perth hitman has now served his 3 match ban. However, it doesn't really concern me because I think Rangers midfield will be much more effective than St Johnstone's. Yes, St Johnstone have the nugget of Europe to play for but remember I reckon this will be the last game in a Rangers strip for many of these players so I think they will want to go out with a win. I wish though McCoist wouldn't persist on playing McCulloch upfront as although he started out as a striker he is anything but in his latter years! That said he will probably score the winner here now.........

I can't help but think the odds on Rangers WIN @ 2.0 (LADBROKES) is generous here!

SPL - Saturday 12th May Team News‏ & Thoughts

***Please bear in mind all the Saturday matches in the SPL are basically dead rubber matches so caution must be made if betting.***

Aberdeen v St Mirren

Aberdeen

Injuries - Anderson, Milsom, Robertson, Paton, Pawlett, Hughes
Available Squad - Langfield, Considine, Reynolds, Anderson, Clark, McManus, Rae, Jack, Fyvie, Vernon, Masson, Magennis, Megginson, Mackie, Smith, Arnason, Rogers, McArdle, Fraser, Brown, Fallon, Osbourne.

Probable XI - Langfield, McArdle, Considine, Arnason, Reynolds, Jack, Rae, Magennis, Fyvie, Fallon, Vernon (4-4-2)

St Mirren

Injuries - Mair
Available Squad - Samson, Van Zanten, McAusland, Tesselaar, Goodwin, McGregor, McLean, McGowan, Carey, Imrie, Hasselbaink, Thomson, Thompson, Smith, Murray, Teale, Reilly, Mooy, Barron

Probable XI - Samson, Van Zanten, McAusland, McGregor, Tesselaar, Goodwin, McLean, Imrie, McGowan, Hasselbaink, Thompson (4-4-1-1)

Prediction : Aberdeen 2-1 St Mirren

Bit like Liverpool the other night against Chelsea, it wouldn't surprise me if Aberdeen get a good win here when it means absolutely nothing at all!!! St Mirren have only won 3 times on the road this season so HOME WIN @ 2.2 (WILLIAM HILL)

______________________________________

Dunfermline v Kilmarnock

Dunfermline

Injuries - McCann
Available Squad - Smith, McMillan, Dowie, Keddie, Thomson, Boyle, Graham, Mason, Kerr, Hutton, Buchanan, Kirk, Barrowman, Hardie, Fernandez, McDougall, Willis, Young

Probable XI - Smith, McMillan, Dowie, Keddie, Boyle, Graham, Mason, Kerr, Hutton, Kirk, Barrowman (4-4-2)

Kilmarnock

Injuries - Heffernan, Kroca, Pascali, Hay, Buijs
Available Squad - Bell, Toshney, Dayton, O'Leary, Nelson, Gordon, Fowler, Kelly, Racchi, Kennedy, Harkins, Shiels, Van Tornhout, Gros, Letheren, Johnson, Pursehouse, Sissoko, Barbour

Probable XI - Letheren, Toshney, Sissoko, Nelson, Gordon, Kelly, Fowler, Harkins, Johnson, Shiels, Gros (4-4-1-1)

Prediction : Dunfermline 1-2 Kilmarnock

Dunfermline are relegated and Kilmarnock only really have pride in being placed 7th to play for so this is really a dead rubber game here for me. This fixture is generally quite high scoring so I would recommend OVER 2.5 goals @ 1.83 (STAN JAMES)

______________________________________

Inverness v Hibs

Inverness

Injuries - Hogg
Available Squad - Esson, Golobart, Piermayr, Tansey, Foran, Tudur-Jones, Tade, Tokely, Sutherland, McKay, Winnall, Ross, Proctor, G Shinnie, Williams, Meekings, Doran, Gillet, A Shinnie, Hayes, Tuffey

Probable XI - Esson, Tokely, Golobart, Gillet, G. Shinnie, Hayes, Foran, Tansey, Doran, A. Shinnie, Tade (4-4-1-1)

Hibs

Injuries - Galbraith, Stack
Likely to be rested for cup final - McPake, Soares, Kujabi, Claros
Available Squad - Brown, McPake, Kujabi, Hanlon, Doherty, Towell, Soares, Sproule, Osbourne, O'Donovan, O'Connor, Doyle, Francomb, Grant, Claros, O'Hanlon, Murray, Stevenson

Probable XI - Brown, Francomb, Hanlon, O'Hanlon, Towell, Murray, Stevenson, Osbourne, Sproule, Doyle, O'Donovan (4-4-2)

Prediction : Inverness 2-1 Hibs

Hibs will field a complete bucket team here after securing SPL safety last week against Dunfermline and the cup final to come next week, Inverness are basically at fully strength so I think it is a good option to back a HOME WIN @ 2.15 (BETFRED)

Paddy Power are offering 6.0 on Greg Tansey anytime scorer which I reckon is worth a look!

Hibs v Dunfermline

Hibs

Injuries - Galbraith
Suspended - Griffiths, Wotherspoon
Doubtful - McPake, Soares
Available Squad - Brown, McPake, Kujabi, Hanlon, Doherty, Towell, Soares, Sproule, Osbourne, O'Donovan, O'Connor, Doyle, Francomb, Grant, Claros, O'Hanlon, Murray, Stevenson

Probable XI - Brown, Doherty, McPake, Hanlon, Kujabi, Sproule, Osbourne, Claros, Stevenson, O'Connor, Doyle (4-4-2)

Dunfermline

Injuries - Burns, Bell, Rutkiewicz, Gallacher
Suspended - Keddie
Available Squad - Smith, McMillan, Dowie, McCann, Cardle, Mason, Willis, Graham, Kerr, Kirk, Buchanan, Hardie, Thomson, Hutton, Fernandez, McDougall, Boyle, Barrowman

Probable XI - Smith, mcMillan, Dowie, Boyle, McCann, Cardle, Hutton, Kirk, Mason, Kirk, Barrowman (4-4-2)

Prediction : Hibs 1-2 Dunfermline

Simple facts here are that Dunfermline must win here and at Kilmarnock on the final day and still hope that Hibs slip up away to Inverness. A pretty tall order but not impossible! Dirty Hibees are missing their key player for me in Griffiths who is the kind of player that can get a goal out of nothing. This is sure to be a real nail biter and I would like nothing more than a Dunfermline win to heap the pressure on Hibs and take it down to the final day.
Samll bet on a DUNFERMLINE WIN @ 5.0 (BETVICTOR)  There's a chance of a sending off also here with such a tense match and lets face it some of these Hibs players aren't the sharpest tools in the box.............lol

Saturday 5 May 2012

SPL - Sunday 6th May Team News‏ & Thoughts

Dundee Utd v Celtic
Dundee Utd

Injuries - Lacny
Doubtful - Gunning, Kenneth, Russell, Flood
Available Squad - Pernis, Dillon, Kenneth, Gunning, Neilson, Dixon, Flood, Rankin, Robertson, Mackay-Steven, Russell, Daly, Ryan, Armstrong, Watson, Dow, Swanson, Douglas, Banks

Probable XI - Pernis, Neilson, Dillon, Kenneth, Dixon, Rankin, Robertson, Mackay-Steven, Armstrong, Ryan, Daly (4-4-2)

Celtic

Injuries - Ki, Forrest
Available Squad - Zaluska, Cha, Kelvin Wilson, Rogne, Izaguirre, McGeouch, Hooper, Wanyama, Ledley, Commons, Ibrahim, Bangura, Stokes, Forster, Brozek, Lustig, Blackman, Samaras, Loovens, Mulgrew

Probable XI - Forster, Lustig, Loovens, Mulgrew, Izaguirre, Matthews, Brown, Ledley, Commons, Hooper, Stokes (4-4-2)

Prediction : Dundee Utd 1-2 Celtic

Dundee Utd were useless against Rangers midweek which was strange as rangers looked ordinary today. There are doubts over Gunning, Russell, Flood and Gunning and without these players I cant really see them getting a positive result. Expect Celtic to again field some of their fringe players but they should still have a strong enough core to the team. I'm tempted with Both Teams to Score but will just stick with a CELTIC WIN @ 1.91 (Ladbrokes)

Hearts v St Johnstone

Hearts

Injuries - Mrowiec, Hamill, Beattie
Available Squad - MacDonald, McGowan, Zaliukas, Webster, Grainger, Prychynenko, Barr, Black, Santana, Driver, Skacel, Glen, Ridgers, Elliott, Mrowiec, Novikovas, Robinson, Holt, Smith, Morton, Taouil

Probable XI - MacDonald, McGowan, Zaliukas, Webster, Grainger, Driver, Black, Barr, Novikovas, Santana, Elliott (4-4-1-1)

St Johnstone

Injuries - Croft, Mackay
Doubtful - Millar, Wright
Suspended - Sandaza
Available Squad - Mannus, Maybury, Wright, McCracken, Anderson, Callum Davidson, Millar, Riordan, Morris, Adams, Haber, Murray Davidson, Craig, Sheridan, Enckelman, Keatings, Moon, Oyenuga, Moffat, Hutchinson

Probable XI - Mannus, Maybury, McCracken, Anderson, C. Davidon, Riordan, Morris, Adams, M. Davidson, Haber, Sheridan (4-4-2)

Prediction : Hearts 1-0 St Johnstone

Even though St Johnstone have won the other 3 fixtures this season against Hearts I don't fancy them to get another win here. Hearts have not lost 3 in a row at home since December 2007. The Hearts players will still be very careful to keep themselves fit for the final but I think they can sneak a win here (just) Home win @ 2.1 (William Hill)

Rangers v Motherwell (12.45KO)

Rangers

Injuries - Kerkar, Naismith
Available Squad - McGregor, Whittaker, Bocanegra, Wallace, Goian, Bartley, Aluko, Bedoya, Edu, Ness, Broadfoot, McCabe, McCulloch, Alexander, Mitchell, Perry, Healy, Little

Probable XI - McGregor, Bartley, Bocanegra, Gion, Whittaker, McCabe, Ness, Edu, Wallace, Aluko, Healy (3-5-2)

Motherwell

Injuries - none
Available Squad - Randolph, Hateley, Hammell, Clancy, Hutchinson, Jennings, Lasley, Law, Humphrey, Murphy, Higdon, McHugh, Craigan, Forbes, Ojamaa, Carswell, Daley, Hollis

Probable XI - Randolph, Hateley, Hutchinson, Clancy, Hammell, Humphreys, Jennings, Lasley, Law, Murphy, Higdon (4-4-2)

Prediction : Rangers 3-1 Motherwell

Rangers tore Dundee Utd a new ass midweek with a 5-0 hidding, showing that Ally McCoist has worked out how to set up with his depleated troops. I seriously under-estimated them in that game but to be honest Dundee Utd were very poor and the game was over early doors. Motherwell have already secured champions league qualifying for next season and they will be delighted with that and can just play this match for pride but manager McCall being a former Ger will want to put in a decent preformance. Being Rangers last home game of the season I expect a full house in Govan and nothing but a home win. I'll be smashing RANGERS -1 on the asian handicap @ 2.02 (BET VICTOR)

Kilmarnock v Aberdeen

Kilmarnock

Injuries - Heffernan, Kroca, Pascali, Hay, Buijs
Available Squad - Bell, Toshney, Dayton, O'Leary, Nelson, Gordon, Fowler, Kelly, Racchi, Kennedy, Harkins, Shiels, Van Tornhout, Gros, Letheren, Johnson, Pursehouse, Sissoko

Probable XI - Bell, Toshney, Nelson, Sissoko, Gordon, Fowler, Kelly, Racchi, Harkins, Shiels, Van Tornhout (4-4-2)

Aberdeen

Injuries - Fallon, Milsom, Robertson, Hughes, Folly, Osbourne, Pawlett
Available Squad - Langfield, Considine, Reynolds, Anderson, Clark, McManus, Rae, Jack, Fyvie, Vernon, Masson, Magennis, Megginson, Mackie, Smith, Arnason, Rogers, McArdle, Fraser, Brown

Probable XI - Langfield, Jack, Anderson, Considine, Reynolds, Fyvie, Rae, Arnason, Masson, Vernon, Magennis (4-4-2)

Prediction : Kilmarnock 1-0 Aberdeen

Aberdeen getting beaten at home by Hibs midweek really sums them up. Too many first team players missing and a terrible squad to boot. Expect Brown to be sacked at the end of the season and them to rebuild again. Kilmarnock have won this fixture on the last 3 occassion so I expect same again! HOME WIN @2.5 (William Hill) looks ok.

St Mirren v Inverness

St Mirren

Injuries - Barron
Available Squad - Samson, van Zanten, Mair, Tesselaar, Goodwin, McGregor, McLean, McGowan, Carey, Imrie, Hasselbaink, Thomson, Thompson, Smith, Murray, Teale, Reilly, Mooy, McAusland

Probable XI - Samson, Van Zanten, Mair, McAusland, Tesselaar, Goodwin, McGowan, McLean, Imrie, Hasselbaink, Thompson (4-4-2)

Inverness

Injuries - Hogg
Available Squad - Esson, Golobart, Piermayr, Tansey, Foran, Tudur-Jones, Tade, Tokely, Sutherland, McKay, Winnall, Ross, Proctor, G Shinnie, Williams, Meekings, Doran, Gillet, A Shinnie, Hayes, Tuffey

Probable XI - Esson, Gillet, G.Shinnie, Williams, Tokeley, Meekings, Doran Tansey, Hayes, Tade, McKay (4-4-2)

Prediction : St Mirren 2-1 Inverness

Inverness have only had 1 win in their last 14 matches including 8 defeats. If they had not had a relatively good first half of the season they might have found themselves in the relagation position. Whereas, St Mirren have just posted back to back wins against Kilmarnock and Hibs and seem to be ending the season well. However, Inverness is a bit of a bogey team for them having only 1 win in their last 9 meetings. I reckon we will see goals in this match and I am happy to take the OVER 2.5 @ 2.1 (BWIN) side bet on anytime scorer Steven Thompson @ 2.75 (bet365)

Celtic v St Johnstone

Celtic

Injuries - Ki, Forrest
Available Squad - Forster, Matthews, Loovens, Mulgrew, Izaguirre, Commons, Brown, Wanyama, Ledley, Samaras, Stokes, Hooper, Watt, Zaluska, Kelvin Wilson, Cha, McGeouch, McCourt, Brozek, Lustig, Blackman

Probable XI - Zaluska, Lustig, Loovens, Blackman, Izaguirre, McCourt, Brown, Wanyama, McGeough, Watt, Hooper (4-4-2)

St Johnstone

Injuries - Croft,
Doubtful - Sheridan, Millar, C. Davidson, Mackay
Suspended - Sandaza
Available Squad - Mannus, Maybury, Wright, McCracken, Anderson, MacKay, Robertson, Adams, Moon, M Davidson, Riordan, Haber, Sheridan, Enckelman, McIntosh, Oyenuga, Morris, Craig, Millar, C Davidson

Probable Squad - Mannus, Maybury, Wright, McCracken, Anderson, Robertson, M. Davidson, Morris, Moon, Haber, Riordan (4-4-2)

Prediction : Celtic 3-0 St Johnstone

The chat is that Neil lennon will give some of his fringe players a run out tomorrow so I see absolutely no value in the silly price on offer for a Celtic win even though I reckon they are a banker to win. Acca fodder for sure. St Johnstone are still in the chase for 4th place though but I would advise waiting till teams are announced as there are a number of question marks over at least 4 of their first team regulars. Main goal scorer Sandaza is still suspended and Sheridan is struggling, add to that injured influencial midfielder Croft and already St Johnstone are up against it. I'll again have a go at CELTIC HT/FT @ 1.91 (Coral)

I will have a side bet on Gary Hooper anytime scorer  @ 1.91 (William Hill)  he is currently sitting top of the league scorer chart on 19 goals, only one ahead of Daly at Dundee United. It's that point in the season where players think about this and team mates will try and tee him up if they are winning easy.

Probable XI - Brown, Doherty, Murray, Hanlon, Kujabi, Sproule, Osbourne, Claros, Soares, Griffiths, O'Connor (4-4-2)

Prediction : Aberdeen 1-2 Hibs

Literally can't decide which team is worse here! And I already feel sorry for old Craig Brown as I reckon the fans will be shouting to get him out after another season for the dandie dons not even threatening the top 6.

Hibs really should have the fight to win this match given their perilous position, however I don't have a lot of faith in them.

Very small bet on Dirty Hibee away win @3.3 (Paddy Power)

Inverness v Dunfermline

Inverness

Injuries - Hogg
Suspended - Hayes
Available Squad - Esson, Golobart, Piermayr, Tansey, Foran, Tudur-Jones, Tade, Tokely, Sutherland, McKay, Winnall, Ross, Proctor, G Shinnie, Williams, Meekings, Doran, Gillet, A Shinnie, Tuffey

Probable XI - Esson, Meekings, Tokeley, Golobart, G. Shinnie, Tansey, Foran, Tudur-Jones, Doran, Tade, McKay (4-4-2)

Dunfermline

Injuries - Burns, Bell, Rutkiewicz, Gallacher
Available Squad - Smith, McMillan, Dowie, Keddie, McCann, Cardle, Mason, Willis, Graham, Kerr, Kirk, Buchanan, Hardie, Thomson, Hutton, Fernandez, McDougall, Boyle, Barrowman

Probable XI - Smith, McMillan, Dowie, Keddie, Boyle, Kerr, Hutton, Cardle, Graham, Kirk, Hardie (4-4-2)

Prediction : Inverness 2-1 Dunfermline

Dunfermline pulled off an amazing 3-0 victory at the weekend to get themselves just 3pts away from Hibs and safety albeit it is really 4pts as they are 7 goals worse off. Spirits will be high and Inverness dont really have anything to play for now they are safe from relegation. I can see a battling performance from Dunfie but just cant see them winning 2 games in a row, especially up in the highlands. These 2 teams have been involved in high scoring games recently mainly due to bollocks defences so OVER 2.5 goals @ 2.05 (BETVICTOR) appeals to me.

Doubtful - McCulloch, Little
Club Suspension - Lafferty
Available Squad - McGregor, Whittaker, Bocanegra, Wallace, Goian, Bartley, McCulloch, Aluko, Edu, McCabe, Ness, Little, Kerkar, Broadfoot, Perry, Alexander, Bedoya, Healy

Probable XI - McGregor, Bartley, Bocanegra, Goian, Wallace, Whittaker, Aluko, Udu, McCabe, Ness, Kerkar, (4-4-1-1)

Dundee Utd

Injuries - Gunning, Lacny
Available Squad - Pernis, Dillon, Kenneth, Neilson, Dixon, Flood, Rankin, Robertson, Mackay-Steven, Russell, Daly, Ryan, Armstrong, Watson, Dow, Swanson, Douglas, Banks

Probable XI - Pernis, Neilson, Dillon, Kenneth, Dixon, Flood, Robertson, Mackay-Steven, Rankin, Daly, Russell (4-4-2)

Prediction : Rangers 1-1 Dundee Utd

I honest think that Dundee Utd could again get something out of this match again at Ibrox, They won the last won 3-2 when Rangers didn't have so many selection issues. I mean I was struggling to pick 11 probable starters for Rangers! They are in absolute pieces at the moment and this is not helped if McCulloch and Little are also missing tomorrow. No such problems for Utd who, like Motherwell seem to field almost an identical team each week.

Again I'll stick my neck out and pray on a vunerable Rangers and take Dundee Utd Draw No Bet @ 4.33 (Ladbrokes) Seems a terrific price!
